European Union Workshops 2003
In 2003, the Disability Federation of Ireland and the Center for Independent Living in co-operation with the Communicating Europe Initiative held a number of workshops on the European Union with the backdrop being the needs and rights of people with disabilities in the union.
CIL played a major role in preparing these workshops. Also, the workshops would not have been possible without the support of the local CILs who hosted the event throughout the country and promoted the event within their region, ensuring the full and successful participation of people on the day.
