National Advisory Group Meeting - 21&22 Jan 2005
This intensive two day NAG group session was primarily involved with clarifying the Aims and Objectives of the Strategic Plan, as well as to look at issues around representation and communication for the NAG group.
NAG Aims were formalised as follows:
- To support CILs to achieve aims at a local level.
- To promote the philosophy of Independent Living by learning, practicing and sharing.
- To promote solidarity.
- To effect change in policies and actions of all stakeholders.
- To broaden the lifestyle choices, and build expectations of individuals with disability.
