Hi. I am a Disabled Person living at home with my parents in a Semi Detached house in the Palmerstown area of Dublin. I am in a dilemma as to what to do. I am currently confined to sleeping downstairs in the living room of our house because it is too awkward for me to get upstairs(I use a Wheelchair). I have tried to talk to my Parents about getting something done to the house,but the conversation keeps going down dead ends. Any suggestions? Contact me at the address above. Thanks.

Hi
I am looking for some ideas for my ma in disability studies. I would love to explore the concept of independent living, p.a`s and so forth. I live in the meath area and have had experience in setting up and running a p.a service, since I left it has turned into something else. people have no support and no avenue to commplain - or so they tell me, funding is none exsistant so only the eliete or most neady recieve a service, I would be greatful if could give me some ideas. I was also part of the review group of the nui cert in disability studies
